After busting my butt since 2021, visiting Senators, Congressman, Mayor's, Police Departments, sponsors, vendors, Nurses, requesting donations and recruiting over 100 volunteers, 100s of registered runners not to mentions permits to run on rt9 that was to be a historic run on rt9 known as The NJ RUN 4 HOPE, ON Oct 6th is experiancing a hiccup.
BWW WILL donate 25% of all proceeds raised that day by anyone who is part of JAR of Hope. They are located in the Marlboro shopping center on rt 9, on the South Bound side.
Buffalo Wild Wings, one of the dozens of sponsors, and they still want to help. They would like to make the best of an awful situation. Yes, this "postponement" is costing several charities 10s of thousands of dollars.
BWW was planning to be open early that morning because they were going to be a water station sponsor and they still want to open early for the Jets Game to support JAR of Hope donors.
It's wonderful to work with such a philanthropic company. BWW understands JAR of Hope's mission and wants to be part of the effort to find a cure. They recognize benefit to supporting terminally ill children more so then "pumpkin picking or apple picking" that day. So, if you plan on spending the day with the family I encourage you to patronize a company that has their priorities in order. I know I'll be there with dozens of families.
