Tom’s passion for our fair, our exhibitors, and our community helps create the traditions and memories that so many families enjoy each summer. We are grateful for his commitment and leadership, and we appreciate everything he does behind the scenes to make fair week possible.

Tonight, the Hopkins County Fair was proud to host the first stop of the “You Make THE Difference” Kentucky Tour with Ian Hill — and what an incredible evening it was.

Board members, volunteers, sponsors, elected officials, and community leaders came together with one common goal: keeping our county fair tradition strong for generations to come. Ian shared valuable insight, resources, and statistics focused on volunteer recruitment, leadership development, financial sustainability, and strengthening rural communities through county fairs.

County fairs are more than events — they are the heartbeat of rural America. We are incredibly thankful to the Kentucky County Fairs for providing this opportunity and investing in the future of local fairs across Kentucky.
