Volunteers are needed to help as parking lot attendants at The East Side Club, and to help with event cleanup. Volunteering your time is a great way to give back to this important fundraising event for the lakes!

🚴‍♀️ Loop the Lake (presented by Lake Ridge Bank) is almost here! We've made a few exciting updates for this year's ride around Lake Monona on Saturday, June 20:

• New start/finish location at The East Side Club with music from DJ Anton
• Updated route
• 🍦 Free ice cream at Olin Park from Chocolate Shoppe Ice Cream Co.
• ☺️ New snack at B.B. Clarke
• 🚲 Visit Wisconsin Bike Fed, Wild Ones, and Friends of Olbrich Park at the start/finish area
• 🍔 Backyard-style cookout at The East Side Club (grilled by the American Legion)
• 🎵 DJ music on the back lawn at The East Side Club from Noon–5 p.m.

New this year for Loop the Lake on Saturday, June 20 — we are super excited to announce a partnership with the Harry Whitehorse International Wood Sculpture Festival.

The first stop on the route is a scenic ride through beautiful San Damiano Park. Experience the Harry Whitehorse International Wood Sculpture Festival, happening all Father’s Day weekend. This unique stop offers riders the chance to see world-class artists in action, transforming wood into stunning sculptures along the lakeshore. Dads who make the detour will receive a special gift to celebrate the weekend.

While you’re there, be sure to visit the Aldo Leopold Nature Center education station to learn about the small aquatic critters in our lakes.

Each registration includes a free Michelob ULTRA, Ultra Zero, or Ultra Seltzer courtesy of Wisconsin Distributors (21+), a free food item (hamburger, brat, or hotdog, grilled by volunteers from the American Legion), and a super soft t-shirt.

Kids 10 and under ride free with a paid adult - they also receive a shirt, food item, and a beverage (soda, lemonade, or water, courtesy of Open Water).

We are excited to bring back a wonderful experience at this year's Loop the Lake (presented by Lake Ridge Bank) on Saturday, June 20! Be sure to plan time on your loop for a special effigy mound educational stop at Lake Monona's Hudson Park. The stop will feature multiple Native American effigy mounds dating back 500-1000 years. You'll learn from guides who will be available to introduce the history and significance of these ancient and sacred artifacts.
