TONIGHT, IN THE FORWARD CLUB: Amalgam Improv presents: Story-prov: Where Stories Meet Improv Comedy!

Everyone has a story. But not everyone is lucky enough to have their story brought to life through improv! In Story-prov, storytellers take the stage to share captivating, real-life tales that improvisers use as inspiration for their scenes. The result is a high-energy blend of narrative and improv, where nothing is planned and the only guide is the story. Every show is a wildly fun time!

This month’s storytellers are the legendary stage performer, Stacey Garbarski, and Star Trek Trivia host, Andrei Baiu!

Note: While we aim for a PG-13-rated show, some “naughty” bits may happen. Audience discretion is advised!

COST:
Pay What You Can. No RSVP required.

WHEN:
Wednesday, September 30, 2026.
Doors at 6:30pm, show at 7pm.

WHERE:
The Forward Club
917 E Mifflin St, Gate 6
Madison, WI 53703
*Enter the bar and performance space by Gate 6 and take the door on the right.

THIS IS AN INDOOR SHOW. Seating is first-come, first-served, so we suggest arriving at least thirty minutes prior to showtime to have your pick of seats.

Please direct any questions about the show to Amalgam Improv at [email protected]. To learn more about Amalgam Improv, visit their website: www.amalgamimprov.com.

🏪 VENDOR SPOTLIGHT: TATTERSALL DISTILLING

Tattersall Distilling is a River Falls, WI-based distillery operating out of one of — if not THE — greenest distilleries in the country. Their canned cocktails are crafted with actual spirits and real, natural ingredients. Clean, polished, and reflective of their craft cocktail background.

At Seltzer & C***r Fest '26, sample:
· Key Lime Gin & Tonic — a light, zesty take on a classic
· Grapefruit & Ginger — a juicy, rose hip-infused mule variation
· Blueberry Collins — a fruity blueberry and basil punch to the palate

Sample plus 100+ other beverages at Breese, Sat Oct 3.
