📣ANNOUNCING our REBRANDING....Every great event evolves, and after many wonderful years, it's time for our name to evolve too.
When the Bikini Open Shoot Challenge first transitioned from a casual get-together into an organized competition, it was closely partnered with a California swim wear company that specialized in bikinis. At that time, contestants were required to wear swim wear purchased from that company, and the company owner served as the event's sole judge. The partnership provided credibility and helped establish the contest, making the name Bikini Open Shoot Challenge a perfect fit for that chapter of our story.
That was more than a decade ago.
Since then, the event has grown in ways we never imagined. What began with a very specific focus has evolved into something much bigger—a creative collaboration that celebrates photography, confidence, individuality, and community.
Today, participants of all ages, body types, backgrounds, and experience levels come together to create, learn, and inspire one another. The spirit of the event is no longer defined by a particular style of swim wear, but by the people who make it such a welcoming and positive experience.
That's why, beginning in 2027, we're excited to introduce our new name: Beach Open Shoot Challenge....It's a name that better reflects who we are today and where we're headed tomorrow—an open, inclusive event that welcomes everyone who shares a passion for creativity, collaboration, and the beach.
