Before the Overture Center, the corner of State and Fairchild was occupied by a department store called Yost-Kessinich. Our iconic round window is a replica of an original from that store!

Last week, Overture announced the difficult decision to reduce our workforce due to the financial impact of being closed since March 13 as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic. Today, we announced additional measures to ensure we can welcome everyone back when the time is right.

Overture will take an “intermission” by suspending performances, in-person programs and other activity through the end of November. We will continue to work closely with and support our resident arts companies, and we are exploring the possibility of holiday programming in December. We will follow city, state and national guidelines and will reopen when it is safe to do so.

Although we are unable to meet in person for the time being, we are still available virtually to help you plan the wedding of your dreams. Select summer 2021 dates are still available! Contact us at [email protected]!
