We’re looking for a Food Pantry Volunteer!
Wil-Mar Neighborhood Center is looking for a reliable, trustworthy volunteer to help take the lead on our weekly food pantry donation pickup and organization.
This is a great opportunity for someone looking to give back to the community while also gaining hands-on nonprofit and community service experience to add to their resume.
Wednesdays | 8:00 AM–11:00 AM
The role includes:
• Driving a short distance to pick up food pantry donations
• Bringing donations back to Wil-Mar and unloading them
• Helping organize and put away food
• Assisting with cleanup and getting the pantry ready to go
Requirements:
• Valid driver’s license and a safe driving record
• Reliable and trustworthy
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs
• Comfortable driving and loading/unloading donations
We provide the vehicle, so you do not need to use your own car.
This is an important part of keeping our food pantry running smoothly and making sure food gets where it needs to go in our community.
