If you’re looking for a fun, high‑energy spring race weekend, Run Madtown is one of Madison’s most vibrant running events. Held May 23–24, the weekend includes something for everyone, from the lively Twilight 5K, to the scenic 10K and Half Marathon, to the inclusive and community‑centered Rudy’s Rainbow Mile. With routes that highlight some of Madison’s most iconic spots and a race atmosphere known for being welcoming, colorful, and full of personality. It’s a great way to kick off your summer miles!

The Madison Marathon is not only Wisconsin’s largest marathon, but also a celebration of community, resilience, and access for all. As a nonprofit event welcoming more than 8,500 runners and tens of thousands of spectators, we’re proud to generate nearly $1 million in local economic impact each year. But more importantly, we’re committed to making sure that life’s unexpected challenges don’t keep anyone from reaching the start line. That’s why we’re offering a limited number of scholarship entries to support runners who may need financial assistance. Whether you’re chasing a PR, running for a cause, or taking on your very first race, we want to help make your journey possible.
