We hate to see it go, but we really enjoyed our four years of working with you guys!
Dearest Athletes and Friends,
This decision has not been made easily. In fact, it has been one of the toughest choices we’ve ever had to make. Farm to Fork has become a beloved event for all of us—for you, for our team, and for the communities we serve. Together, we’ve raised record-breaking funds to feed food-insecure Mississippians. We have shared laughter, beignets, bull rides, music, and moments…memories that will last a lifetime.
Farm to Fork isn’t a plug-and-play event. It’s a year-round commitment.
As many of you know, The Barn—the heart and home of our event—was booked next year for a wedding on our weekend, the last weekend in April. We explored shifting seasons, swapping formats, reworking the footprint, and even taking a gap year. But we simply couldn’t find a path forward that remained mission-focused, protected the funds this event must generate, and honored our responsibility to dedicate staff time to feeding efforts—not just event logistics.
I don’t have great, wise, or comforting words—except this: as an athlete and supporter of Extra Table FEEDS, we know you understand this was, ultimately, a business decision. We hope you’ll continue following our work, attending our events, and—if you’re able—consider becoming a monthly donor. Your support in the past and into the future is vital to our mission.
We applaud you for your dedication to feeding Mississippi over the last five years and for making our mission your mission.
So, raise a glass to great memories made and meals delivered—and hey, let them eat (wedding 👰♀️💍🍰) cake.
P.S. Drop your favorite memory in the comments!
With food and gratitude,
Martha Allen Price
