Noble & Ladies,
As many of you know, it takes quite a lot of work to pull off Nobility Ball weekend. The planning starts well in advance. We really need people to step up and help out. All help is welcome and I guarantee we will have fun while we are doing it. Come hang out with old friends & make new ones. Getting involved was one of the best decisions Shon & I made when he joined the Shrine. The friendships we have made are some of the best. I have put together a schedule of task I would like to complete ahead of time and a schedule for the week of the Nobility Ball. Please check these out and let me know which days you can help out. Even if you can only come for a few hours, it will help and be appreciated.
May 2nd 9am-until -Decorating Barn clean-up is something I have wanted to tackle for a while. The Barn is very full, and we need to make room. We need to pull everything out and go through it, dispose of old/past its usefulness items, condense & combine like items, & put items back into barn.
All of you strong men would really be helpful to move all these things around for us ladies while we go through stuff.
May 17th 11am-4pm - Centerpiece Assembly is exactly as it sounds. We will assemble the centerpieces for the Ball, so they will be ready to set on tables. This will be something all of you can help with! Bring glue guns, extension cords, scissors, wire cutters.
Nobility Ball Week June 9th-11th (I have noted times as 10am-until, please sign up even if you can only help a few hours. I plan to be out 4-5pm Tuesday and Wednesday. Thursday, I will be there until everything is complete).
June 9th- We will put out tablecloths, centerpieces, & chair covers. We need tablecloths iron/steamed & hung beforehand. If anyone would like to iron/steam, please let me know and I will get you some to work on. Also, if anyone had a stand-up steamer that they would be willing to let us borrow, we would appreciate it.
June 10th- We will finish up chair covers if needed, table decor completion if needed, work on archway, etc.
June 11th- We will work photo backdrop & finishing touches.
As you can see, there are many things to tackle. Many hands make lighter work. Knowing how many people will be available will also help me plan task for everyone and hopefully save time and things will run smoother. Please call/text me your availability or if you have any questions.
