Thank you, to all of you who came out to the Spring Western Illinois Fiber Festival yesterday! It was so much fun to see so many people making lovely needle felted creations, and learning how to use a drop spindle. Now, over 20 people know how to needle felt and spin yarn on a drop spindle, isn't that amazing?! It brings pure joy to all of us when we're able to spread the love of fiber and fiber art. Thank you everyone - customers, vendors, and helpers, for making the Western Illinois Fiber Festival a success. It's always such a wonderful time, and we look forward to many more. We'll see you all again on Sat., Oct. 24th for the Fall Western Illinois Fiber Festival!

We are thrilled to have Hickry Ridge Homestead join us at the Spring Western Illinois Fiber Festival on Sat , March 21st from 10am-4pm at the McDonough County 4-H Center in Macomb, IL! She's a homesteader and jack of all trades - spinning, crochet, knitting, weaving - she does it all. An avid supporter of small farms and equal rights for all, we love the energy she brings to our fiber fest. She'll have a variety of handmade products at her booth and a little spinning area where she'll be doing spinning demos throughout the day. Make sure to stop by and see all her wonderful creations!

We're excited to announce that Ceilidh's Cannabis Conjurations will be joining us tomorrow at the Spring Western Illinois Fiber Festival! They are a wonderful woman-owned h**p farm that sells flower, lotions, tinctures, soaps, and more. Kay is very knowledgeable and will be happy to answer any questions you have. She'll even be doing a demonstration showing the fiber in the h**p stalk. The day is getting closer for local h**p fiber, she's working on learning the process! Have any of you ever worn h**p clothing? I used to have a handmade h**p hat and shorts that I got from a small shop in the mid-90's, unfortunately I'm not sure what happened to those items over the years. Come say hi to Kay, and check out all her lovely products. Her CBD pain lotion works great on my arthritic hands!

We are so happy to have Drewberry Soap join us again for the Spring Western Illinois Fiber Festival this Sat., March 21st from 10am-4pm at the McDonough County 4-H Center in Macomb, IL. Drewberry Soap raises dairy goats and makes amazing products with their milk. Their goat's milk soap & lotions are so wonderful, and are great for anyone who suffers from dry skin or eczema. Not only do they make wonderful products, they are also a great couple who works harder than anyone I know, and they always lend a helping hand and avidly support their local community. Please support this lovely small farm, and see for yourself how amazing their products are!

We are thrilled to have Green Shingle Graphics back at the Spring Western Illinois Fiber Festival! We love her fun & snarky notepads, stickers, magnets, buttons, etc. She's an awesome multi-talented woman who is an avid supporter of local and woman owned businesses, as well as human rights and social justice. Her booth has all kinds of fun stuff, make sure to check her out!

We can't wait to see Walnut Springs Family Farm this Sat., March 21st at the Spring Western Illinois Fiber Festival! This wonderful family farm raises a variety of sheep, as well as a few alpacas and a llama. You'll love the variety of soft & squishy wools they have to offer in their rovings, batt blends, and yarns. They also have a wide variety of finished products that make great gifts, like socks, ear warmers, scarves, hats, mittens, etc.! Be sure to check out their booth and say hi to Elizabeth.

We are excited to welcome back PW Sheep Farm!

PW Sheep Farm offers Border Leicester wool and wool made products. Abby Wamsley, one of the proprietors, uses these products as part of her FFA SAE project. She makes dryer balls, wreaths, and is trying some new products for this event - key chains & car air fresheners! In addition to these items she will also have yarn and roving.

We love seeing young entrepreneurs enter the fiber world, please come check out Abby's booth and show her some support!
