FREE SHOW!! - Happy 420. Today the show is officially now FREE to get in. Mighty Mystic will be performing at 4:20 pm today on April 20 at Mother Nature's Riverfront Retreat in Macks Creek, MO. The show is happening and is FREE!! They will be performing their hit song "Cali Green" talking about how the west is the best. This band is currently on a cross country tour coming up from Texas and heading to Boston from here. At 4:20 pm we will all be together on April 20 for 420 on 420 effect. Vendors are set up including the Stoned Goat Food Truck and Green Tree Farms & Co with consumption lounge.

Here are a few clips of from Friday night at the OZARK REGGAE FEST : 420 with Nonstop Reggae Band at Mother Nature's Riverfront Retreat in Macks Creek, MO. On Saturday night the bands playing at Yard Squad Band and Elisha Israel & AZ-ONE and International House of Dub with music starting around 6 pm. Sunday is Mighty Mystic starting around 4:20 pm. The stage and concert & vending area covered are covered in case of rain. The party rolls on. Vendors are open starting in the late afternoon. Tickets available in advance or at the gate.

OZARK REGGAE FEST : 420 is this weekend April 18+19+20 at Mother Nature's Riverfront Retreat at Lake of the Ozarks in Macks Creek, MO. On Friday there is the Nonstop Reggae Band playing from 7:30 pm to 10:30 pm along with Ricardo DJ-Chilly Morris. Saturday is Elisha Israel & AZ-ONE and the Yard Squad Band along with the International House of Dub. On 420 Sunday April 20 is the national touring reggae band Mighty Mystic starting at 4:20 pm. Tickets are available in advance or at the gate. Optional kayak floating and RV sites are also available at the ticket link. The venue is a 300 acre campground on the Big Niagua River. Vending is open to everybody - you just buy a ticket and pay for electricity if needed. Admission tickets cost $40 for all three days OR $30 for 2 days OR $20 for a single day.

This Ozark Reggae Festival page has officially reached over 2000 followers. Thank you to everyone who has liked and followed. This page was created and first post made on March 7. Missouri and the Ozarks region has a strong reggae community. The Facebook event page for OZARK REGGAE FEST : 420 already has over 2500 responses. We really appreciate all the love and support in our efforts to present reggae music festivals. There will be float trips available during the OZARK REGGAE FEST : 420 on April 19+20 at Mother Nature's Riverfront Retreat. The float trip is 3 miles long and runs from the main beach to the boat ramp on the other side of the property. You can bring your own boats or you can rent kayaks, canoes, or tubes from the venue. Elisha Israel and AZ-ONE is an African American reggae band based out of Kansas City, MO. Elisha is the lead vocalist, bass guitarist, producer, arranger, songwriter, dedicated to bringing heart throbbing, uplifting and inspirational music to the people. Elisha came to Kansas City in 1987, and immediately began working with the local reggae artists, which lead to the opportunity to continue moving forward as a reggae artist. In 1989 Elisha reformed his band AZ-ONE and began to open for many of the major reggae acts traveling through the area such as Ras Michael & the Sons of Negus, Jimmy Cliff, Garth Dennis (formerly of the Wailing Souls and Black Uhuru. The Itals, Beenie Man, Burning Spear, Culture, Fela Kuti, the Skatalites, Jimmy Cliff, Pablo Moses, Black Uhuru, Yellow Man, Mutabaruka, Andrew Tosh, T***s & the Maytals, Buju Banton, Luciano, Lucky Dube, Pato Banton, War, The Wailing Souls and many more, Elisha Israel and AZ-ONE was the winner of the Midwest Music Association Award for Best Reggae/World Beat in 2004.
