Today's "new" terms to learn: Marfa Lights, phrenology, and grimoire! In with the fun of "Monsters, Witches, and Ghosts, Oh My!" are a few new (to us) words. Marfa Lights are a Texas "thing", and phrenology is an 18th century "thing." Grimoire - well, that's a witchy "thing" (see the photo) but all of it is in fun!
When you come to join the fun of the show, wear your Halloween costume. If you're in costume you may enter to win a drawing for a prize. Call 712-486-2216 for your reservations. The show runs October 30, 31 at 7:30 and November 1 at 2:30.

Ah! Jeremy Marcus (Vince Baker) checks his “watch” which he obviously forgot in his haste to meet with the pretty, new housekeeper he found for his aging mother and wacky aunt. His nerves are frayed by the way the old biddies keep losing housekeepers! He doesn’t anticipate that the new girl will steal his heart! There’s so much fun in the Grist Mill show “Monsters, Witches, and Ghosts, Oh My!” Call for reservations 712-486-2216. October 30, 31, November 1.

Backstage working on her lines, our favorite wacky witch of "Two Witches, No Waiting", Sue Duhachek, creates witchy chaos, especially as she pursues her heartthrob, Jebediah Abercrombie! Sometimes, during rehearsals, the rest of the cast just breaks down laughing at her antics! It is so difficult to keep a straight face with her onstage! You can catch all of her adventures (and count her wig changes) when you come to Grist Mill's production of "Monsters, Witches, and Ghosts, Oh My!" on Friday, October 30, Saturday, October 31, and Sunday, November 1. Call 712-486-2216 for reservations. We will return your call.

Mischief! Mayhem! Maturity??? These three, who could be called the Grist Mill 76ers, bring 228 collective years of experience to Grist Mill's production of Monsters, Witches, and Ghosts, Oh My! Rich Fleming portrays, again, the Cemetery Caretaker and, later, the ruthless Eustace Sternwood. Clarence Waddell wears his uniform proudly as Sheriff Jeb Abercrombie, a bastion of law enforcement. Eileen Adickes, as Arlene Marcus, can explain nearly everything, except greedy folks! A little harmless witchcraft goes a long way to keep everyone in line.
