For the FOURTH CONSECUTIVE year, our high school choirs—Vox Fortis, Ars Vocem, and Symphonic Chorale—have all earned Superior ratings at the OMEA State Contest!

Come hang out with and learn from our award winning a ca****la groups, Momentum and Synergy A Ca****la in this 2 day summer camp!

Every camper will be placed in a small group and will perform in an explosive concert at the end of the 2 day camp.

They will also get the opportunity to learn about beatboxing, vocal percussion, solo singing and more!

Each camper will receive:
-Lunch both days
-AcaJam Academy T-shirt
-AcaJam Academy Water Bottle

The detailed schedule looks like this:

Friday, August 8
9:30am - Registration and Check In

10:00am - Large Group Rehearsal

10:45am - Drink break

11:00am - Small Group rehearsal

11:45am - LUNCH

12:30pm - Large Group Rehearsal

1:15pm - Break Out Sessions (Karaoke, Vocal Percussion, Beatboxing, Etc.)

2:00pm - Small Group Rehearsal

2:30pm - Large Group Rehearsal

3:00pm - Camp is over for the day.

Saturday, August 9
9:30am - Check In

10:00am - Large Group Rehearsal

10:45am - Drink break

11:00am - Small Group rehearsal

11:45am - LUNCH

12:30pm - Large Group Rehearsal

1:15pm - Break Out Sessions (Karaoke, Vocal Percussion, Beatboxing Etc.)

2:00pm - Small Group Rehearsal

2:30pm - Large Group Rehearsal

3:00pm - CAMP CONCERT!!

This year, both the Middle School and High School Choirs received Superior Ratings at OMEA Contest. Earlier this year, ALL 4 High School choirs received STRAIGHT Superior Ratings from EVERY judge for the third consecutive year in a row! Determined not to be outdone, this past weekend, both the 7th & 8th Grade Choirs also received STRAIGHT Superior ratings from EVERY judge. Congratulations to our SUPERIOR Middle School and High School Singers!

Last night, all 4 of our HS choirs competed at OMEA State Contest, having all qualified with straight Superior ratings at Districts in March.

We are proud to report that 3/4 received straight Superior ratings last night with the 4th missing a State Superior rating by just one point.

This is the 3rd consecutive year that 3 choirs have received straight Superior ratings from every judge at BOTH the District & State levels of competition.

Ars Vocem: I-I-I-I = SUPERIOR
Vox Fortis: I-I-I-I = SUPERIOR
Symphonic Chorale: I-I-I-I = SUPERIOR
Bel Canto: I-II-II-II = EXCELLENT

For the last 13 years, Nordonia has had at least 1 choir qualify for State Contest.

This year, for the first time ever, they took FOUR groups to compete at OMEA District Contest.

Not only did ALL FOUR choirs qualify for State Contest, but, for the THIRD consecutive year, EVERY Nordonia choir received straight Superior ratings from every judge.
