So we've decided that we will be running the event as planned on Saturday! Meet at Taylorville at 10AM.

Unfortunately we have to cancel "official" events on Sunday, but we are happy to try and help you find people to go out with or other options.

Hi everyone,

Regrettably we will be canceling this weekends planned playboating clinic on the Black River due to unseasonably high water! We were watching and hoping it would come down but with more rain in the forecast it does not seem likely.

We will be planning this weekend again next season, keep your eyes out!

Since Hole Brothers is quite high for beginners today, would there be any interest in a Whitewater Wednesday run of the Middle Moose and the first 3 rapids of the Lower?

Plan would be to meet at this take out we were thinking around 530. Comment below if you plan to come so we have a headcount. Also let us know if a later time might be better for you, its light for a long time so we have wiggle room!

Looked like water was going to be too high for whitewater wednesday but it came down enough! We will be at Hole Brothers from 5pm onward :)

Currents are a little swift for beginners today, reliable combat roll recommended!
