Three of our four upcoming programs have officially reached capacity!

We’re grateful for the incredible response from families and excited to welcome so many teens to El Centro. We’re actively working to strengthen our volunteer team so we can safely open additional spaces and serve more young people.

Families are still encouraged to sign up. If your preferred program is full, please join the waitlist and we’ll contact you if more spaces become available.

Registration is moving quickly 📣

Our first program is already at 50 percent capacity, and spaces are beginning to fill in our other programs too.

Each program is intentionally limited to 12 teens so every student can be known, supported and personally invested in by their mentors.

All four programs are completely free and open to Lynn middle school teens. Our first program begins September 15, 2026.

If you are looking for a safe space where your teen can find mentorship, experience meaningful growth and become part of a supportive community outside of school, El Centro is ready to welcome them.

Registration is now open for El Centro’s 2026 to 2027 program year! 🎉

All four programs are completely FREE and open to middle school teens living in Lynn.

Each program focuses on one of El Centro’s four connected CORE Areas:

01 Character Development
02 Outlook & Emotional Health
03 Relational Skills
04 Economic and Financial Understanding

Together, these areas support teens as whole people. Through practical lessons, reflection, creative activities, small group conversations and mentorship, teens build skills they can carry into their relationships, decisions and futures.

Teens can participate throughout the full year or register for an individual program season.

Every registered teen also receives a free El Centro bag, shirt, accessories and program supplies. These materials help teens arrive prepared, stay organized and participate fully, giving them the tools they need to succeed from their first day through the end of their program.

Only 12 spaces are available in each program, so families are encouraged to register as soon as possible.

Our next El Centro Teen Center program starts Tuesday, March 3rd and registration is completely FREE.

Middle School students are developing healthy influence, clear personal values, emotional awareness, confidence in their strengths, and better decision-making skills.

High School students are building big-picture thinking, strong character beneath the surface, healthy identity, ethical decision-making, and sustainable self-care habits.

And they don’t just talk about it.

Students apply what they’re learning through hands-on creative projects like origami (where small choices shape outcomes) and leadership vision boards (a blueprint of their values, strengths, and growth goals).

Last week we wrapped up our 3rd program of the school year at El Centro Teen Center 🙌

Our middle school students spent the past weeks growing in:

• Navigating challenges with intention
• Letting values guide decisions
• Practicing humility and teamwork
• Building habits that move them toward their goals

Through creative expression, they designed custom pins, completed hands-on projects, and reflected on how these ideas apply to real life.

It’s encouraging to see students wrestle with these ideas and begin applying them in everyday situations.

Our next program begins March 3rd, and sign-ups are now open.
