Starting the end of MARCH, 2016 Jams will be on the 2nd and 4th FRIDAYS,
except on holidays. If there are any changes to the schedule we will make every effort to not
ify ahead of time.

Here's the schedule through the year 2016:
March 25th
April 8th and 22nd
May 13th and 27th
June 10th and 24th
July 8th and 22nd
August 12th and 26th
September 9th and 23rd
October 7th and 21st
November 11th and (holiday, no jam)
December 9th (no jam the 23rd)

It is a musician's jam session. If you want to sing, you must play an instrument unless you are singing with a partner who is playing and that constitutes their turn. General jamming etiquette is expected:
-play softly when not your turn so that the featured person can be heard, or the featured instrument playing a break;
-be aware that your instrument may not seem as loud to you as to someone who is in front of it;
-follow cadence of featured player;
-if you do not know the song, play extra quietly;
-each player plays one song and then it is passed to the next player;
-give everyone a chance to shine;
-be encouraging, be respectful. We are not performing, we are playing together and everyone can learn from others. A donation box is close to the front door. NO money goes to the pickers or the coordinators, all goes to support the venue. (pay the light bill and AC or Heat)
