In her first month as Head of Development at the Academy Center of the Arts, Keeley Cordingley has already helped shine a powerful light on why access to the arts matters for every family in our community. ✨

Reflecting on recital season with her daughter, Keeley shared:
“Every time she steps onto the stage, I cry—not because the performance is perfect, but because I can see what the arts are doing inside her: Confidence. Joy. Courage. Belonging.”

That experience is exactly why the Academy continues working to remove barriers that keep children and families from accessing the arts. Through performances, theatre education, pottery and visual arts classes, exhibitions, and community programming, Academy membership helps create opportunities for students to discover creativity, confidence, and connection.

“Children in our community are waiting for their chance to discover the same spark,” Keeley said.

Thanks to the support of our members and donors, more students are discovering their creativity — whether that’s at a pottery wheel, with a paintbrush in hand, or beneath the glow of stage lights.

Together, we’re helping ensure the arts are for ALL. ❤️

Help more children discover their spark through the arts. Become a Member or renew for 2026 today.
