To everyone who attended “A Christmas to Remember” production, I want to thank each of you for your caring and gracious reception of the Ministerial Alliances first play production. “A Christmas to Remember” performs again today at the LHS Auditorium at 2:00pm. Please come early to hear the Church of the Living God’s Womens A Ca****la Group. They will begin at 1:45 with Christmas selections to welcome you with. Then you will also have the pleasure of hearing the choir, Directed by Virginia Smith of Open Door of Assembly of God sing during the performance. Tickets are $10 at the door. Credit cards and cash accepted. Hope to see everyone there on this cold winter’s day!

“A Christmas to Remember”
performs again today at the LHS Auditorium at 2:00pm. Please come early to hear the Church of the Living God’s Womens A Ca****la Group. They will begin at 1:45 with Christmas to welcome the arriving audience. Then Pastor Derrick from the First Baptist Church will give the opening prayer. Pastor Johnny Melton, Playwright “A Christmas to Remember” will give a heartfelt introduction of the young lady who inspired this play. Then, Pastor Steve Jordan will speak about his son, Jake Jordan to whom the play is dedicated. Then “A Christmas to Remember” will begin. Tickets can be purchased at the door for $10. Credit cards and cash accepted. We hope to see everyone there! Just a few memories from Friday night’s performance…

PARADE HAS BEEN CANCELLED!
Please be advised that the tree lighting service and parade have been cancelled due to projected weather conditions. The temperature dropped below freezing at the Main Street Market this afternoon. This was not in our plans for this Christmas event. But, on the brighter side, the play “A Christmas to Remember” was a huge success Friday night. And, with the second performance scheduled for Sunday, December 6th at 2:00 we hope everyone can come and enjoy the aftenoon with us we give you “A Christmas to Remember!”

It’s Saturday, December 6th and “A Christmas to Remember” is on Main Street in Luther. We have venders who toughed out the cold weather to be with us as well as some fantastic food. Join us for our tree lighting ceremony at 6:00pm followed by our night parade!

“A Christmas to Remember” will be the first time the engaged couple Patty and Billy share their funny journey to the alter. The color of green will undoubtly be the conversation of the whole community. Don’t miss the hilarious ladies of the beauty shop as they put Patty and Billy at the top of their urgency list! Again, you can’t miss Harper Langston’s and Logan Greggs’first stage premier of what could be many more fun times to come!

It’s the Eve of “A Christmas to Remember” premiere. In just less than 24 hours curious audience members will be able to enjoy this play written by Johnny Melton, Pastor of the Luther First Christian Church.

In this play, there are two married couples, in real life. The first married couple is Scott and Karley Fesler of Luther who play Leslie’s parents. If you are a parent, your heart will feel every step of their special journey with their daughter Leslie.

The second married couple in real life is Andrew and Victoria Price of Moore, Oklahoma. Victoria plays Leslie and her husband, Andrew plays Larry the Bum. The script leads one into a life occurence that eventually opens some of God’s greatest gifts. What seems to be very awkward encounter in everyday life just might be happening in everyone’s hometown.

If your curosity is pondering God’s gifts, you need to be in attendance to share this beautiful story. Laughter, tears, and heartfelt moments will keep you on the edge of your seat as the cast unwraps God’s gifts right before your eyes.

Performances are Friday, December 5th at 7:00pm and Sunday, December 6th at 2:00pm at the LHS Auditorium at 18001 N. Luther Road, Luther, Oklahoma. Tickets are $10 and can be paid at the door in cash or credit card.

“A Christmas to Remember!” The LHS Auditorium is now a quiet shell patiently waiting on the cast to paint memories on its canvas. The stillness is a quiet softness which allows the mind to relax and drift in to another world of imagination. Soon, the cast will be arriving this evening for the second to the last rehearsals. This play seemed like it was eons away when we began planning last January. We are now a few hours away from our first curtain call. How do you wrap a gift this big to give to someone? You don’t. One must open their hearts to receive the gifts we will unconditionall begin giving Friday night. Hope to see you and your family in the audience.

Billy (Logan) is Patty’s fiancée (Harper Langston). The comical support of true love comes to life when Patty makes a huge “green” mess!
