We were proud to host The Lumberton Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. as they presented their newest initiates: XII Degrees of Fortitude. Congratulations to our long time supporter and sponsor Dr. Robin Yolanda Peace on her initiation.

It was truly an honor to welcome such a distinguished organization and celebrate this meaningful milestone alongside them. The event beautifully filled the Carolina Ballroom, creating an elegant and memorable setting for this special occasion. From the powerful presentation to the sense of sisterhood and accomplishment shared throughout the evening, it was a celebration to remember.

Guests were also able to enjoy the Carolina Foyer, which provided a warm and inviting space for gathering, photos, vendors, buffet, and fellowship.

We would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the Robeson County Arts Council for choosing The Carolina Ballroom as the host venue for the 3rd Annual Warmth of Winter – Holiday Market. It was truly an honor to be part of such a wonderful event that celebrates creativity, community, and local artistry.

Our beautiful ballroom welcomed 25 amazing vendors and more than 800 guests, creating an incredible atmosphere filled with holiday spirit, shopping, and connection. Seeing our space come alive with so many people supporting local artists and makers made the event unforgettable.

At The Carolina Ballroom, we are proud to offer a versatile and elegant space that can accommodate a wide variety of events from markets and festivals to weddings, corporate gatherings, galas, celebrations, and more. We’re incredibly grateful to UNC Health Southeastern for choosing the Carolina Ballroom to host their Joint Boards of Trustees Planning Conference. It was an honor to welcome such an outstanding organization and provide the space for this important gathering.

Their event made full use of our beautiful Carolina Ballroom for the conference sessions, along with our in-house video and audio equipment. Guests also enjoyed the Carolina Foyer as a welcoming space for both breakfast and lunch, creating a comfortable and elegant setting for networking and conversation throughout the day.

Want to be the first to see our new annex expansion? With our tight mid-October construction completion schedule we are moving right on to Christmas, so buy your tickets to the 14th annual Robeson County Christmas Show!

Tickets go on sale 1pm Monday September 15.

This season marks a special turning point for the historic theater as it celebrates the opening of its new 9,000-square-foot annex expansion that includes the newly named "Carolina Ballroom". With new lobby, concessions, special event ballroom and other amenities visitors will experience a new, contemporary setting that joins with the existing historic venue that first opened in 1928. Ticket purchasers for the Annual Robeson County Christmas Show will have the first opportunity to see the new addition.
