October 30th & 31st, the chandeliers will glow, the cocktails will pour, the music will rise and nearly 100 years of history will come alive for El Día de los Mu***os Masquerade Ball.

The Historic Baker Building is providing the entertainment of a scripted Murder Mystery for a private event, and we are ...

The Historic Baker Building is providing the entertainment of a scripted Murder Mystery for a private event, and we are casting actors to perform at the event. If you are a performer in Lubbock, TX, please join us Sunday, Oct. 11 at 6:00-8:00pm at our event venue at 1211 13th St, Lubbock, TX 79401 for auditions. No material needs to be prepared in advance. We do ask that auditioners attend the full time. Auditions will consist of cold readings and improvisation activities. Improvisation experience and training is preferred but not required.

Performers need to be 21 years of age or older, and there are roles that can be cast for actors who appear to be in their 20s up to actors who appear to be 60+. There are 6 available roles. The character genders are 3 male-identifying and 3 non-specified. This is a one-time performance on the evening of October 24. Rehearsals will be several times a week up to the performance date and will be scheduled according to the availability of those cast. Performers in these roles will be paid a small stipend.
