Join us Saturday, September 19, 2026 for Ride for Cancer Care!

For Matt and Tammy Colbert, the Ride for Cancer Care is more than a tradition. After losing Matt’s mother-in-law, Nancy, to cancer and seeing the exceptional care she and his father-in-law received at Lowell General Hospital Cancer Center, the ride became a way to give back.

Last September, just weeks after the ride, Matt was diagnosed with Stage 3 non-small cell lung cancer. After a frustrating start to treatment, he turned to Lowell General, where he received radiation, chemotherapy, and now immunotherapy. His latest CAT scan showed his tumor shrinking, and his prognosis is good.

Now in their fourth year of riding, Matt and Tammy are ready to ride again. 💜💛

🏍️ Ride for Cancer Care is this week!

Join us Saturday, September 19, for the 2026 Ride for Cancer Care in Chelmsford, honoring Carole, Rich, and the Sullivan family!

After Carole’s lung cancer diagnosis in September 2025, a new medication and clinical trial at Lowell General Hospital have brought encouraging news as her cancer continues to shrink. Inspired by her care, Carole’s daughter formed Carole’s Crew, raising over $5,300 to support other cancer patients.
