Hit up Brantley in the kayak this afternoon, did pretty well caught quite a few black bass and a few white bass on umbrella rigs. Main bait was chigger craw Texas rigged flipped into cover. I had two decent fish break me off in the wood. Weather was perfect lake is down but slowly on the rise.

Better late than never i guess ๐Ÿ˜‚ last weekend in carlsbad was fun! Where is everyone fishing this weekend?

First day out in the kayak for 2021 at green meadows in Hobbs. Was a surprising day in the wind, the large mouth were destroying the lipless and the crappie were liking the drop shot. Water was 50 degrees, prefrontal with wind.

Green meadows in Hobbs, water temp 48-49 degrees, caught 20 bass, and one 16 inch trout. All caught on a ned craw. I used the depth finder to identify abnormal bottom topography, if you can call it that, bumps and holes really.
