Mercedes Cherelle is a Master Cosmetologist specializing in healthy hair. Cherelle makes it her mission of educating women and young girls on how to appreciate and love their natural hair.
The Rockford native spent her high school years in a beauty salon which fueled her passion for hair care. Following her dreams, Cherelle relocated to Atlanta, GA immediately after high school
to attended one of the top hair schools in the world, Paul Mitchell. Cherelle obtained her Master Cosmetologist License.
After cosmetology school Mercedes Cherelle trained and worked in some of the top salons in Atlanta, GA., branding herself as a multicultural stylist. While working behind the chair she learned
all the do's and don'ts of growing and maintaining natural hair.
After years of experience in the field, Mercedes Cherelle created a haircare line, free of any harmful ingredients.
Mercedes Cherelle is also the founder of the annual Cherelle Saecher International Natural Hair Health and Beauty Expo.
The passion that Mercedes Cherelle has was caused by an impoverished childhood, where she learned to use her creativity and hands to build a life for herself and her family. Cherelle's is an entrepreneur with the spirit of a philanthropist. Her primary goal is to educate while uplifting the community and while continuing to increase her knowledge and understanding of hair care.

The Rockford Battle is a Festival like none other. Based in creative arts expression, we battle in competition in hopes to show the youth how to be proud of their abilities and creativity. The first year we competed to raise support against and awareness for Domestic Violence. Year two, we battled against Post Traumatic Stress Disorder in all areas of life. For 2019, we have partnered with the United Way of Rock River Valley to battle for Strong Neighborhoods and Middle School Success! Thanks for your support and see you there every July at Rivets Stadium in Loves Park, IL.
