Bryan McNabb has been selected as the official photographer for the 2027 cluster.

Information about ringside/candid photography opportunities will be available in the premium list in January.

Someone requested we tell you about our new space. First - we have been told that this will be a temporary space for us - the plan is to tear down the existing West Wing and rebuild.

The new building is supposed to be finished in December. If you attended the cluster last year you saw the on-going construction and its location. We will still have Broadbent for obedience and rally. The new space is the same size as the West Wing, the West Hall, and the Pavillion combined.

RUMOR CONTROL - In the dog world we all know that rumors spread faster than the truth. The latest rumors regarding our cluster -

#1 RUMOR - we are limiting entries for 2027. That would be a hard NO…no idea how that got started.

#2 RUMOR - we have lost our location for 2028, and the cluster is canceled! Seriously - NO!! We have a written contract for 2028, and this has never been an issue.

PLEASE help us set the record straight and share the information as much as possible.

Sammy people better get ready 🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️

When Travis Kelce stepped off his new wife’s private jet last month in Palm Beach, Fla., his travel companion caught people’s attention.

Paparazzi snapped photos as a fluffy white Samoyed puppy trotted down the airstair, appearing at home in its new billionaire lifestyle. When the canine made its tabloid debut on TMZ the next day, Swifties were agog: “Cat lady” Taylor Swift, it seemed, had become a dog mom.

Swift’s influence on consumer behavior is undeniable. She can sell out stadium tours, inspire fans to buy branded merchandise and replicate her outfits, and even boost entire economies. Could she and Kelce make Samoyeds the next French bulldogs?

Should Swift’s dog inspire a true rush on Samoyed puppies, the breed would not be the first to gain popularity thanks to its celebrity associations.

With the retirement of Kim Booth, our cluster is looking for a new show photographer (win pics only).

We would like some feedback from exhibitors. If you have recommendations tell us why. If you’ve had negative experiences with any photographers, please MESSSAGE and give us names and details.

The Louisville Kennel Club and the Kentuckiana Cluster of Dog Shows send our deepest condolences to both the dog show community and to Lynn’s family, fellow A.K.C. staff, and many friends. Not only was Lynn our A.K.C. Rep she also became a dear friend to all of us and both her guidance and friendship will be deeply missed.
