Centennial Festival of Riverboats A 6-day festival celebrating America's rich Southern heritage with steamboat cruises, art, bourbon, music, and more. Oct. 14-19, 2014. Louisville, KY.

October 14-19, 2014:

The Belle of Louisville, the oldest operating Mississippi river-style steamboat in the world and an iconic symbol of the city of Louisville, will be celebrating a century of service on October 18th, 2014. The Centennial Festival of Riverboats will last 6 days, attracting visitors from around the world to enjoy concerts, steamboat races, parades and more on Louisville's award

winning waterfront park. A portion of the proceeds will go toward preserving the Belle for her next 100 years. Events to include:

Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner cruises
Daily Waterfront birthday celebrations
Parade of Boats
Fireworks
Live Music

It was so neat seeing people dress from the time period the Belle of Louisville was created, these people came from all around the US. One of my favorite things from today!
