✨Important announcement!! ✨

This year marks an important milestone for us here at The Pete Foundation – 10 years of stomping the stigma! We could not have done this without any our fans, both old and new.

As we enter our 10th anniversary, our work and programming continue to grow as we expand our mission across the country. With that growth, we have some bittersweet news to share.

We will be placing The Big Stomp festival on pause for 2026. We are deeply grateful to every fan, ticket holder, volunteer, and our wonderful sponsors who helped make this first-of-its-kind, mental health–driven music festival such a success. The impact of The Big Stomp has been powerful—and that was always its purpose.

Because of that success, the demand for our work at The Pete Foundation has grown
significantly. While we will miss bringing the festival to life this year—and especially the
joy of being together during those unforgettable days—this moment allows us to focus even more deeply on advancing mental health awareness, understanding, and care.

Please stay connected with us and tuned in for the future return of The Big Stomp. In the meantime, keep an eye out for music events supporting The Pete Foundation throughout Louisville—we are always looking for ways to connect music to our mission;
a natural combination.

Thank you again for all of the love and support you have shown us over the years. We
truly could not have done this without each and every one of you 🐘💚

Have you got your tickets for Sunday’s show at Whirling Tiger yet?

Today’s Feature is Cam Clark, we’re very excited obout this one Cam has some huge stuff coming down the line. Truly an artist to watch.

Cam Clark is an artist, producer, and multidisciplinary musician from Paris, Kentucky. His work is rooted in cinematic, soulful recordings, blending atmosphere, theatrical flair, and emotional depth across both studio and live formats. He frequently performs this material with his ensemble, Cam Clark & His Orchestra, expanding his recordings into immersive, large-scale arrangements.

Before launching his solo work, Cam was the founding member and frontman of national touring act C2 & The Brothers Reed, and lead singer of the major-label rock outfit PHARAOHS.

Cam Clark & His Orchestra functions less as a standard concert act and more as a performance-art collective, embracing chaos, absurdity, and emotional escalation as expressive tools.

His solo debut, The Outer Reaches, serves as a foundational release within a broader, evolving body of work, marking a transition toward long-form artistic exploration and expanded conceptual scope.

Excited to feature Katie Didit from Mama Said String Band today! She’ll be doing a rare solo set for us on sunday you dont want to miss.

Ms. Katie “Didit” Caudill, born and raised in Whitesburg, Kentucky, is in two bands based in Louisville, KY. She is one of the founding members of Mama Said String Band and the front woman of Katie D & The Bluegills. Katie’s repertoire includes guitar and upright bass; her main influences are John Prine, Django Reinhart, and Rachel Price. Katie Didit’s rich and playful sound can be attributed to her intricate, powerful lyrics and her love of American Swing music. Katie has spent her early years in music deeply immersed in the world of traditional Appalachian music, studying traditional mountain music at Mt. Empire College in Big Stone Gap VA, going on to become an instructor, and eventually program director, for JAMS (Junior Appalachian Musicians). In her spare time, you can find her hosting 8 open mics at month in Louisville, KY as well as a monthly Spotlight Showcase at The Monarch Arts and Community Center. Katie’s vintage flare is perfectly paired with her passion for lyrical composition, each line laden with intention leaving her listeners feeling as if they just finished their new favorite book.

Today we are featuring Cait Justice ! Another amazing singer songwriter who’ll be joining us this Sunday March 8th at The Whirling Tiger.

Cait Justice was born and raised in Eastern Kentucky, a place that shaped her and formed the foundation of her musical journey. Drawing inspiration from Folk, Americana, and Bluegrass, Cait’s landlocked siren voice and tales of love, loss, and everything in between weave her songs into something hauntingly and achingly beautiful.
