FOUR long months have passed since the 2025 Boar's Head and Yule Log Festival! 🐗
Now that the weather has warmed up, you're probably not sporting your Boar's Head sweatshirt any more - but we hope you're still jamming to your Festival CD! (Personally I like to listen to track 4, "Highland Cathedral", with the volume cranked all the way up.) 🎶
As the Easter season draws to a close, we're looking forward to the excitement of summer ministry events - and with the way things go around here it'll soon be time to begin organizing the 2026 Boar's Head and Yule Log Festival! We hope to see you at a worship service or another event soon. ❤️

THREE months have flown by since the 2025 Boar's Head and Yule Log Festival! 🐗

Here's your monthly check-in! Some of our costumes were recently featured in the Lamp of Peace Experience at Unity of Louisville; our lighting team is revamping plans for this year's Festival; sweatshirts, stickers, and CDs are still being sold if you need one; our directors are in the process of updating their Boar's Head operations manuals; and engineers are evaluating the balcony in the St. Paul sanctuary to make sure it's structurally sound after bearing the weight of the lighting truss each year. The work continues, and in a few short months we'll be counting DOWN instead of counting UP! 🎉

We'd love to see you this Sunday, April 5, for one of our Easter services: 7:30am on the front lawn, 9:00am in the gym, or 11:00am in the sanctuary! ❤️

TWO whole months have flown by since the 2025 Boar's Head and Yule Log Festival! 🐗

Here's your monthly check-in! We are already working to ensure the next Festival is a success. Costumes are being cleaned and repaired; casting changes are necessary as our youngest performers grow into different roles; we've developed a plan to prevent future printing issues (we ran out of ink last year!); and we're researching options for streaming the Boar's Head Festival CD so that you can listen from anywhere. Parts of the new stage have even taken up residence in our choir room, and all of our choirs are benefitting from the new pieces! The Festival is truly a year-round project. ❤️

We can't believe it has been a whole MONTH since the 2025 Boar's Head and Yule Log Festival! 🐗
Now that everyone has recovered... you're missing it, aren't you? Never fear: there are many ways to "keep the Festival alive” all year: listen to the CD, wear your cozy sweatshirt, make a financial donation for future performances, volunteer to help maintain our costumes, recruit new cast members, learn the songs so you can sing them while washing dishes...
We hope you find ways to keep celebrating the greatest gift ever given: Jesus Christ! ❤️🎁

The Boar’s Head Festival is many things: a concert, a pageant, a procession, a performance… but most of all it is an offering of worship. Royals, shepherds, and wise men each bring gifts to honor Jesus Christ, and we pray that you experienced the awe and wonder alongside them.

We hope you will come back again next year, and consider participating in the Festival: ushering, serving cookies and wassail, stage setup or teardown, making a financial donation, or joining the cast! We would love to have you as part of the “Boar’s Head family.” ❤️

Today our hardworking volunteers are dismantling the set and putting everything back into storage. We're sad to see another Boar's Head season come to a close, but what a wonderful Festival it was! Thanks for being part of it. 🕯️🥰

WOW, tonight's shows might've been even better than last night's! We are so grateful for everyone who attended and participated! Now begins the cleanup and reviewing what went well and what changes might be in store for next year! Thanks again for making it a wonderful 46th Louisville Boar's Head and Yule Log Festival! ❤️🐗
