Once in Mech Assault 2, the other in Devil May Cry season 2 - separa​ted​ by​ twenty-two years.

I dunno why it took me this long to investigate, but I found SoulCalibur II Plus, which adds all guest characters and instantly unlocks everything on each home port of the game, excluding the HD version (PS2, Xbox, Gamecube). We will be using the Xbox version for the extra visual fidelity from here on out.

I just had an insane idea I wanted to commit to the aether. What if we did​ Spicy Doom - Deathmatch Edition.

Ru​l​e​s: timed. Most kills in 5 minutes. Each time a player dies, they have to do a shot of an increasingly hotter sauce​ before they continue.

Sunday night was completely bonkers! I'm thrilled that so many people had a great time, and that our audience also supported the vendors who took a chance on us.

This event was particularly ambitious for us. It was like a one-day convention in a space that wasn't really meant to handle it with a crew that was spread incredibly thin, but we pulled it off. The fact that it didn't fall apart is a small miracle.

My wheels are already turning for how we can apply the lessons we learned from this event and make next year even better.

Meet the founders of MGFC!

Scott: Commentator

With the heart of a performer and soul of an artist, Scott thrives on stage and lives for the next gig. Never satisfied with simply doing something well, Scott is willing to wear many hats, from live musician to copy writer to commentator, all in the service of his art.

Roy: Tournament Organizer

Even before MGFC had a name, Roy knew he wanted a ticket to wherever this train was headed. Scott would always have the mic covered, and Tom handles the tech. Roy then, would take care of everything else: maintaining the brackets, wrangling competitors to the sticks, driving up the hype, and help chase down wires in venues that seemed to forget MGFC was coming to do a thing.

Tom: Technician and Content Creator

Perfectly content to toil away behind the scenes, Tom turns vague tournament ideas into concrete events. Or visions of grandeur into reality checks when he feels like a buzzkill. Whether it’s gamepad control images, organized lists of games, or videos on the YouTube channel; if it’s on a screen, Tom probably had something – or everything - to do with it.
