According to Rampart, dozens of burners required transport off Playa for higher-level hospital care this year, including by air ambulance.

Most patients were treated in BRC for common emergency department complaints, including musculoskeletal injuries, soft tissue injuries, and urinary tract infections. Overall, patients were reportedly less sick than in 2025.

Shoutout to our incredible ESD and Rampart teams: nurses, physicians, PAs, pharmacists, medics, greeters, EMTs and everyone else working behind the scenes to provide free healthcare on Playa to the participants and staff. Proud to serve alongside you!

Before I wash/clean my clothes or gear, I hit it with the leaf blower to release the dust imbedded in the item. These rugs protect my car floor. I love the playa but don’t want it in the house🌪️💨

I haven’t even unpacked from Burning Man 2026. I’ve basically been sleeping for the past 48 hours hoping to feel human again.

And then they announce the 2027 theme: 🔮✨

Suddenly, I feel a little better.

A few people asked to see my bike. The horse is now retired. The hoof got caught in the wheel and I can’t have the stuffing create moop on the playa. She served me well for a couple of burns though 🐴🔥
