40th Annual Lotus Festival The Lotus Festival originated in 1972, by the Department of Recreation and Parks and members of the Council of Oriental Organizations.

Join our 43rd annual summer festival in beautiful Echo Park Lake as we celebrate the great Philippines! 🇵🇭 This year’s 42nd Lotus Festival at Echo Park Lake honors Indonesia. The festival includes live music, dance and entertainment from a variety of performers representing many of the diverse countries of Asia and the Pacific Islands.

It was always a pleasure to see the beautiful garden created by our hardworking Department of Recreation and Parks staff.
