The Los Angeles Collegiate Playwrights Festival is the premiere stepping stone for college playwrights across the country seeking to launch their career in playwriting. By enlisting industry producers, director and actors, LACPF gives the up and coming playwright the opportunity to see their characters brought to life in the Hollywood arena. For a nominal fee, submitted plays will be read by a volunteer selection committee consisting of industry professionals. Selected plays will be produced and performed in Los Angeles, followed by their publication in a seasonal anthology, giving way to endless opportunities for future productions on the world stage.
