Ok, so the my SoftEgg.com website is now mostly operational. The 20 year old table based layout is now stable again, a lot of the dead links and missing images are repaired or replaced, everything was rewired to use PHP includes for the large portions of the layout, the bad links for the dead blog were removed, and so it looks GOOD ENOUGH to work for reference for my resume and portfolio.
Some of the content is still very dated, but, well, it's a 20 year old website.
That took a couple of weeks.
It feels like such a waste to be spending my valuable (expensive) time in Germany resurrecting this crap, but it's my basically my extended resume, for better or worse.
I suppose NOW I can start working on getting that portfolio and artist CV together for the artist visa.

Now I really need to know: what are the important things to have on it. What really counts as art, and what counts against me as an artist?
Of all the things that I've done, what do they want to see most?

Hey, we're working on a new portable synthesizer in the form of a giant Trucker Belt Buckle!
We've entered it in the Hackaday Prize competition, and think we have a chance in the musical instrument category, but we got in late and haven't had time to accumulate likes.
