DAY #11 April Diamond shares a classic video clip of The follow up to VOICE COACH starring Marc Antonelli. In this touching love story, the very lovely Michelle Jubilee Gonzalez plays Josefina Maria Carmen de la Caridad de Los Angeles Gonzalez (WOOO!) who travels from her native Miami to Hollywood.... er uh... I mean... Estudio City where she takes the recommendation of a famous South Florida Club Promoter (the very popi chulo Carlos) and uses it to advance her eminent career as a vocal star and Latin percussionist. Famed record Producer Mr. Lame (yes he may be overpaid, but he did work on a nearly famous song from a nearly famous movie one time) guides Josefina to work with the elegant and highly trained vocal coach to the stars. Only hurdle? She needs to learn to sing. Enter April Diamond who pulls rabbits out of her hat, walks on water (ya we spilled some in the hallway) and in a matter of minutes trains our he**in to utilize advanced vocal techniques, multi linguistics from transcontinental arias and other stuff too difficult to understand, until.... voila. This is my personal tribute to the rare but seriously humble artists who humbly do their work and share their art with their fans asking little or nothing in return.
