She’s a national champion, a dedicated daughter, a super big sister, and a superstar niece. Another eldest daughter, Maryam, is a natural leader and a born athlete, pursuing dance, weight lifting, and volleyball. I can’t wait to chat with her about what it’s like to be so ambitious and responsible, while balancing the demands of everyday life as a Muslim teenage girl in America in competitive sports.❤️‍🔥

Dear BMGFly Family,

Unexpectedly, we must place the BMGFly Film Festival on hiatus this year. My health challenges have taken a scary sudden shift, and I must choose to place my physical well being and self-care as the priority.
