MASTERTRACK WINTER PLAYBACK SUMMIT 2025

Attendees came from four different continents to converge in LA for a jam packed weekend of all things playback, music direction, show programming, and more. We are always honored for folks to dedicate their time to learning from us here at EC - the playback industry is a secretive space and part of our mission is to reduce gatekeeping and encourage those who are willing to invest in themselves to jump on this path!

Attendees heard from EC playback engineers themselves, guest musical directors (MDs), had a workshop at Ableton HQ, got their hands dirty with real touring rigs, gear from , and so much more!

Can’t believe it’s already been a few weeks since ! The event was once again a great success - we had attendees come from four different continents to converge for a weekend of total immersion into all things playback, music direction, show programming, and more. Special shout out to for sponsoring with two interfaces for giveaway, and a third Apollo x16D with Dante capability for us to demo! Too lucky attendees were grinning all the way home with their new devices.

Special shout out to our guest MDs and for dropping major knowledge bombs on the attendees and leaving us all inspired.

And a call out to and for hosting us at Ableton Spaces in Pasadena for a Push 2 workshop and for speaking at the event as a past attendee!

At MASTERTRACK we give attendees the opportunity to experience the “hot seat” - because it’s one thing to work in at home, and it’s another thing entirely to do so under the pressure of an artist or musical director who is asking for edits in real time over your shoulder. 🐝 We are buzzing because this year’s MASTERTRACK event will be held at in Van Nuys, CA! Since it’s inception in 2018, MT is a one-of-a-kind weekend workshop to learn all about playback, autotune, MIDI, touring, and more.

We’re beyond excited to bring the event to the Hive, where many of our engineers and clients work and rehearse throughout the year. There’s no better place to dive deep with us than one of the best rehearsal venues in greater LA.
