Teen/Young Adult Training and Professional Development, ages 12 to 21+
Youth Basics, ages 7 to 16, (all levels)
Tiny Step Programs, ages 3 to 10 all levels
Teen/Young Adult Training and Professional Development, meets
Tuesday-Wednesday-Thursday, 6pm - 8pm and Saturdays 9am - 4pm

Gabriel is such a committed young man! We are proud of his swift development and thirst for all kinds of dance styles. In this video you see him reviewing a tap combination, receiving notes in Ballet and in a studio showing doing modern dance. Gabriel is at the beginning of his Dance Journey; we are so proud of how far he has come.
Ms. Kozue, Lead LWDT company dancer/teacher, is works with LWDT Scholarship Student Gabriel on being clear about his focus during the movement phrase.
This summer Gabriel learned about and studied the works of Jose Limón, Talley Beatty and Donald McKayle. He watched LWDT Company Lead Dancer, Danny Guerrero rehearsing The Mourners Bench choreographed by Talley Betty. The Mourner’s Bench is an excerpt from Southern Landscapes”a larger suite by Mr. Beatty. Ms. Lula worked with Gabriel on her own interpretation of the famous dance as a “study” for Gabriel. It is important that we build in the Dance history and teach our students about important Black Dance choreographers.
