✨ THE BIG UPDATE ✨

🎬 Women of Hollywood, which began as a homegrown community initiative by in June 2023, became official when agreed to fiscally sponsor our events for up to 12 months.

🥂 We have since hosted 5 successful events in Hollywood, connecting women in our film industry at all career stages. During that time, our email list grew from 25 women to over 300 women/female-identifying professionals!

💞 A big thank you to everyone who supported this along the way! The fiscal sponsorship of FiLM iNDEPENDENT has been pivotal as we expanded on this project. We still highly recommend them as a resource for filmmakers.

💫 After our contract ended with FI, however, we were approached by the non-profit, Women In Media. Paige Blankenship (founder of Blank Paige Films) has been a WiM member for years and was excited to work with a new fiscal sponsor more directly aligned with our mission statement.

💡 This partnership will help us to manage the growth of this initiative and connect our attendees with even more resources year-round!
