There’s just about 💯 hours left to register for the Spring Fling Block Party in Los Angeles!

Registration is free and not required to attend. However, registering gets you a nifty custom name tag and welcome packet! You also have the option to pre-purchase lunch tickets, geocoins, T-shirts, and become a Friend of the Fling. Some items are selling out and won’t be available at the Block Party, and T-shirts are only available in advance, but you should be able to purchase lunch tickets and the primary SFBP geocoin in person if you don’t mind standing in line at the event.

Registration closes late on Tuesday, April 22! Don’t miss out!

The Spring Fling Block Party celebrating 25 years of geocaching is just three weeks away and registration is now open at https://socalspringfling.com/shop/

Registration is different from posting your Will Attend! Registration is where you can fill in the information for your name tag and welcome packet. Registration is free, so please make name tags for each person in your group, even if you share a caching name. Registration is where you can pre-purchase lunch tickets, geocoins, T-shirts, or become a Friend of the Fling. Registration is capable of handling an unlimited amount of items in your cart before checking out. Registration is closing end-of-day on Tuesday, April 22! Please register!

Completing the registration form adds it to your cart where you can add optional purchases. You need to checkout (even if your total is $0) to complete registration. You’ll know if your registration is successful when you see an order summary and receive an email confirmation.

Purchased T-shirts will be shipped directly to you but everything else will be packaged together and ready for you to pick up at the Block Party. Packet pick-up at the event is done by last name, so please be sure to complete the details on the registration form to make it easier for the volunteers to connect you with your swag.

We are four weeks from the Fling, so if you haven’t yet heard…

You're cordially invited to join us for an out-of-this-world adventure at the Spring Fling III geocaching Mega-event on Star Wars Day, May 4, in Los Angeles! Fire up your fusion reactor to power your GPS units because this event promises to be as epic as the Battle of Endor!

Event Highlights:

New Caches: Discover hidden treasures across the galactic terrain, from Tatooine deserts to lush forests of Endor with the Cache Across Southern California series available now – https://coord.info/BMD6K6Y – and there will also be new caches to seek within the park near the event!

Adventure & Gadget Labs: Embark on AL missions that will challenge your Jedi-like skills and navigate you through uncharted territories!

We’ve been a bit busy with planning another Mega-event, (*ahem* looking at you, GeoWoodstock XX) but we haven’t forgotten you, our first love, the Socal Spring Fling!

With 48 days to the event, the Spring Fling III: May the Fling Be With You! website is live at https://socalspringfling.com/ and registration is now open at https://socalspringfling.com/shop where you can get your free name badge and peruse all sorts of awesome swag to support the event!

Games! Prizes! Raffles! Auctions! Adventure labs featuring our super popular Gadget Labs! New geocaches in the park! Awesome tacos! Plus the Fling is taking the annual Lackey & Reviewer panel to the next level with some very special guests! And you *know* Signal will be there!

Can’t wait for the Fling on May the Fourth to hurry up and get here? Are you tired of exploring Earth and are wanting to book a galactic vacation destination? Well, look no further! Blast off now on Cache Across Southern California (CASC) 2024! More than 30 new letterbox geocaches have been placed across all 10 Southern California counties. Special thanks to the many helpful leprechauns for placing each of these caches that published March 17!

This year's CASC theme is Star Tours! Download and print your passport so that as you clear customs on each planet, you may stamp your passport with the one provided in each cache. Complete your passport by visiting at least six planets across at least three counties before May 4th, 2024. Bring your completed passport to Spring Fling for a special bounty!

The GeoWoodstock XX/Spring Fling III host team attended Yuma Mega #20 today and hung out with Signal! It was great to talk with so many cachers about GeoWoodstock and the Spring Fling, and absolutely amazing to see so many green Double X Backers of GeoWoodstock XX t-shirts!
