Our monthly Locking session is back this Wednesday 🎉🥳
And we’ll be having join us to share some of her knowledge and experience 🙌🏼
Rebecca aka “Recka” began her Locking journey in 2008 at Homeland Cultural Center in Long Beach. She has trained under many mentors and teachers, among those who have influenced her most are Scoo B Doo, Damita Jo Freeman, Alpha, Sundance, and Tiffany B**g. What inspires her to keep dancing and locking is the freedom in expressing all the depths and complexities of being a human, connecting with community, continuing to learn and understand the rich culture of street dance, and being creatively inspired by those around her.
