- I loved the idea of writing a whodunit or caper film, sans caper. Breaking down a mystery and discovering the twist and turns along the way.

-Frankie and I started talking about the project in a very general way in June of 2020. Over the next couple months the story changed and morphed as we began breaking down characters and major plot points. Originally, we were going to split the writing but after I sent Frankie my first five, he was just like โKeep going.โ So I did.

-Of course! The whole conceit of the project was to make a self-contained โZoom conferenceโ style film. I feel like, for better or worse, itโs a bit of a time capsule to the pandemic. To keep the set as safe as possible we shot each actor individually, while I read the entire script in single takes. Other than the table read, which was conducted on Zoom, we had no rehearsals. Not to mention the masks, regular testing, and all the other things weโve gotten so used to now that still felt pretty novel last fall when we filmed.
