Dear traveler: You and I are kindred spirits. Adventurers. Bon vivants. Flaneurs on the boulevard of this earthly realm. Any world weary traveler knows that sometimes the best laid plans matter not. I am crestfallen to report that the portal is experiencing interference from the cosmos. For now, these problems are out of my control. I do not know what is happening out there in the universe. I do not know what timeline the glitch is occurring in. I must depart Elsewhere, temporarily, and find the flaw. And I do not know when I will return. I do not know what will come back from inside the portal. So for now I leave you with my greatest gift of all: 50% off tickets to Elsewhere. This Elsewhere. JP Sando stood in the room of monitors. The eyes, he called them. Although he wasn’t physically there, the eyes allowed him to see everything. He saw the children hugging the hedges. He saw the two men holding hands and stealing a kiss by the pond. He saw the guests laughing, reveling, romping around the rooms. He saw everything and he felt happy. There was nothing JP loved more than meeting new travelers in Elsewhere. He saw them as kindred spirits on the cosmic trip of life.Their energy powered the portal and he wanted more people to experience the wonders of Elsewhere. Where would he go next? That was the question on Madeline’s mind. She could feel it in her bones. The portal was glitching. JP would be sealing off the portal for experimentation. The portal at Madcap Motel was ever changing and expanding. She wished she get answers from JP. When was the portal reopening? What would it look like? But every time she sent a telegram to space it came back with a large stamp that said, in glowing ink, RETURN TO SENDER.
