In Haifa, Palestine 1948, Ahmed plays soccer in a local club in his town. He gets an offer to play for the Palestinian National Team after a wonderful performance in a friendly match. On his way back home after the game, Ahmad and his Jewish friend, Eliyahu, face soldiers blocking their way back and see the people of the city fleeing. Ahmed returns to his home seeing his own family leaving the city to seek a safer place as well. Ahmed leaves the city with his family, leaving his home, friends, and most importantly his dream behind. Finally, Ahmed passes his dream to a young boy on the Lebanese borders to continue the dream that Ahmed started.

THE PANOLA PROJECT

This heartwarming documentary highlights the heroic efforts of Dorothy Oliver as she fights COVID-19 vaccine hesitancy with kindness in her small town of Panola, Alabama. It chronicles two women's efforts to get vaccines in their rural city of nearly 400 and illuminates how an often-overlooked Black community of nearly 400 came together in creative ways to survive the pandemic.

Directed by Rachael DeCruz and Jeremy S. Levine (For Ahkeem, Good Fortune), this film has won numerous awards including Oscar-Qualifying Grand Jury Prize, Best Documentary Short, Florida Film Festival, and Grand Jury Prize, Best Documentary Short, Lakefront Filmat.
