After 25 incredible years of dedication, community, and cultura, we want to take a moment to honor the legacy of someone who helped shape the heart of this celebration.
Since 1999, Roberto Gonzalez has been the passionate force behind the Lordsburg Tejano Fiesta. With countless hours of coordination, vision, and love for our traditions, he brought music, joy, and pride to our community year after year. His work not only kept the fiesta alive—it made it thrive.
This year, the City of Lordsburg has made the decision to retire both the event and Roberto’s role as its promotor. While this news is bittersweet, we choose to look back with gratitude and forward with pride in everything that’s been built.
To Roberto—thank you for 25 years of unforgettable Tejano magic. Your legacy lives in every dance, every note, and every memory made at the fiesta. You didn’t just organize an event—you nurtured a tradition.
To everyone who ever danced under the lights, performed on stage, or gathered with loved ones—gracias por ser parte de esta historia. While this chapter may be closing, the spirit of the Lordsburg Tejano Fiesta lives on in all of us.
