Ahh--a beautiful late August Colorado Sunday---what to do? How 'bout coming down to the Dickens Tavern outdoor patio from 2 to 5 for some live one man blues dished out by Bobby Walker. Bobby tours the world with the Eden Brent Band and also plays regularly with Mike Zito. Luckily Bobby has a few days off from his touring and will be tearing it up on the Dickens patio this afternoon. And yes if you want to run inside and see what Peyton Manning is up to--you can catch some action inside at the Tavern. Combine all that with the $5 BBQ food special---how can you go wrong?

This Friday night March 16th---The Dustin Pittsley Band from Tulsa, OK returns to the Dickens Opera House. Definitely on the upbeat and rocking side of the blues--Dustin Pittsley is an amazing guitar player with a very tight band. Mostly original rockin' blues but they do some covers. The last time I saw them they did a couple of wicked covers of All Along the Watchtower and Whippin' Post that were the best versions of those two songs I have heard in a long, long time.
