Thank you for another great Happy Sundays Fest! It was a weekend of music, smiles, & togetherness! Plus we raised over $400 for Su Casa domestic violence shelter!! We had so many people come up and thank us, it was truly beautiful.
This year wasn’t without its problems though. For months leading up to the fest our sponsors, ourselves & bands were harassed, threatened, and trolled by a couple of people that wanted us to throw a band off the bill. When we did not succumb to their demands, they went on a rampage, hell bent on destroying our reputations & the fest itself. Using false remnants from the cancel culture tidal wave of 2020, they tried to intimidate and shame everyone involved. Their campaign resulted in a hideous Boycott post. For those of you seeking a statement- there it is.
Thank you to all the people that have judged us by our actions and didn’t jump to conclusions about what irresponsible and misinformed individuals were saying. We didn’t lose a single sponsor or band to these threats.
We’re not sure what the future holds- not sure if we want to put ourselves through this again. But for now we want to thank you so much for sticking with us!! This fest has always been about community. Thank you to our sponsors, to all bands that played over the past nine years, to the venues & festival staff ♥️ Love y’all 4 ever
