MIDSUMMER SCREAM IS NOW HIRING! 🎃

We are looking for friendly, helpful, spooky folks to join our temporary W-2 event staff for this year's convention, August 7–9 at the Long Beach Convention Center!

Help us make the world's largest Halloween and horror convention an amazing experience for our tens of thousands of guests, incredible vendors, celebrity participants, performers, and haunters.

What we're looking for:
General event support staff to help with crucial roles, including:
-Managing queues and lines
-Escorting guest speakers and talent
-Light stage management support

Have specialized skills? If you have experience with audio/video equipment, let us know on your application, as we may utilize your support there!

The Details:

Requirements: Must be at least 18 years old by August 5, 2026.
Compensation: Most positions pay minimum wage.
Returning Crew: Even if you've been a part of our team before, we still need you to re-apply for this year!

Midsummer Scream has goosebumps being able to announce paranormal investigator Kelsi Davis to meet fans this August 7-9 at the Long Beach Convention Center!

Kelsi Davies is an actress, content creator, and clairvoyant visiting some of the most haunted places on earth to catch paranormal evidence on camera. Her audience of 10M+ fans love to follow along, whether she’s investigating alongside the stars of your favorite shows, or traveling across the world to uncover the truth of the darkest and most disturbing paranormal locations. Her love for acting, makeup, and art extends to her weirdcore horror skits for social media, often featuring her haunted doll, Lola. Kelsi is based in Los Angeles and can be followed everywhere .

Hollywood Fringe returns this June, and Midsummer Scream is looking for jurors to help us determine which show is THE SCREAMIEST! .

The ideal juror is already a frequent theatre-goer (and Fringe attendee) with a love for all things spooky, but to become a Screamiest juror we mainly seek people who can commit to seeing and judging a minimum of three horror, thriller, or otherwise spooky related shows at Hollywood Fringe.

Confirmed judges are allowed to request comps for select shows (at the discretion of each show).

The Hollywood Fringe Festival is an annual, open-access performing arts event held every June that features over 500 self-produced shows across more than 30 venues. We’re looking for bold, original short films (20 minutes or less—no exceptions) that celebrate horror and the spirit of Halloween. From animation and comedy to extreme gore, folklore, experimental, and beyond—there’s a place for your vision.
