Shock-A-Go-Go is a premiere festival that showcases: Horror, Sci-Fi, Fantasy, Cult, Exploitation, Grindhouse, Arthouse, Documentary, Dark Comedies and experimental films. Held once a year in Los Angeles, Shock-A-Go-Go has moved this year's festival to Art Theatre Long Beach! Our past festivals have included guests such as: Roger Corman, Stuart Gordon, Michael Berryman, Ted V. Friedman, Mark Pirro,

Richard Elfman, Jack Hill, Mary Woronov, and many more. We've featured films such as: Nightbreed, Faster Pussycat Kill Kill, Spider Baby, Doll Squad, Curse of the Queerwolf, Blood Feast 2, Re-Animator and many more. Programming:

This year, we will open our festival with a marathon of screenings at Art Theatre Long Beach. You can expect guest speakers with Q&A panels, a shorts segment, and a feature films segment. Each of these will have categories that spotlight animation, underground films, independent film, work by women, and a wide range of diverse filmmakers. We encourage filmmakers of all levels to submit to our festival, and we welcome as many submissions as you’d like. Please keep in mind, that if your film is selected and it was submitted to different categories, it will only play in one.

Shock-a-go-go film festival June 6-7 2026 at the Art Theatre in Long Beach features cult movies, guests, live music, burlesque, and vendors. Movies include Little Shop of Horrors with actor Jackie Joseph-Lawrence, Tales from the Hood with director Rusty Cundieff, Bride of Re-animator with director Brian Yuzna, Forbidden Zone with director Richard Elfman, and Prom Night with director Paul Lynch. Bloody Burlesque features Anastasia Elfman. Live music introduction to Forbidden Zone with Richard Elfman. Q and As after each film. Sunday we have over 2 hours of Shocking Shorts and 3 new indie features- Dead, White and Blue by Mike Davis, Quiet After Supper by and The Bank Yank by Nate Myers. Tickets at Shockagogo.com!
