🐴 THIS IS GROWTH 🐴
As a little back story….
The top photo is where it all started — A little red wood barn on just shy of 3 acres, with a 30’ x 50’ indoor arena and just 5 stalls.
The bottom photo is where the dream has taken us 3 years later — nearly 20 acres, a 100’ x 150’ indoor arena, and 16 stalls.
From a very young age, I’ve always had a passion for horses. I’ve spent years dreaming about owning and operating a facility of this caliber. There were plenty of moments when that dream felt a long way away.
But we kept going.
There is no one-size-fits-all path to success. Take your own path and RUN with it.
We had to create my own path, take chances, learn from my mistakes, and figure it out along the way.
Looking back at these two pictures side by side is a pretty incredible reminder that dreams don’t happen overnight. They happen one decision, one risk, one setback, and one step forward at a time.
And as many people know, I don’t necessarily have the desire to ride myself. For me, so much of this has always been about the therapeutic side of being around horses — caring for them, being around them, and seeing what they can do for people.
At the end of the day, we do this for the smiles on people’s faces when they come to the barn, care for their horses, spend time in the saddle, or accomplish something they’ve worked countless hours toward.
Whether it’s a rider reaching a personal goal, a horse and rider having a successful show, or simply someone having a better day because they got to spend time around their horse — Those are the moments that make all of this worth it.
The facility may have grown tremendously, but the reason behind it has never really changed: A love for horses and the people whose lives they touch.
Long story short — Set your mind to a dream and NEVER give up on it.
You may not be where you want to be today. You may not have the education, resources, money, or connections you think you need.
But if you have the passion, the work ethic, and the willingness to keep going, you can build something incredible.
One day, you might just look back and realize you built the thing you always dreamed about.
