It’s hard to believe that five years have passed without Jake. Some days it still feels impossible that he’s not here with us. We miss his laugh, his energy, his kindness, and the way he made everyone around him feel like family.

Jake had a spirit that was impossible to ignore. He lived with heart, with passion, and with a simple message that continues to guide us all: “No Bad Days.” Even in his absence, that spirit still shows up—in the stories we tell, the friendships he created, and the community that continues to come together in his name.

Every year, the Naar Classic reminds us just how many lives Jake touched. The love, support, and memories shared are proof that while he may be gone, his impact will never fade.

We miss you more than words can ever say, Jake.

The Annual Naar Classic doesn’t come together on its own, it takes an incredible team of volunteers to pull off a day full of hoops, food, raffles, and fun.

We’re looking for folks to join our 2026 Planning Committee and help us make this year’s event bigger than ever!

Here’s where we could use your skills:
🏪 Reaching out to local businesses for sponsors & raffle prizes
📋 Helping plan the event schedule & logistics
🍔 Coordinating food trucks & vendors
🎟️ Gathering and organizing raffle baskets
🎶 Setting up entertainment (DJ, dunk tank, contests & more!)

📅 Meetings (via Zoom) start in January 2026, once a month until April, then twice a month leading up to the event.
